On October 26th, the technical report of Guangdong Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation and Major Project “research and extension of animal pathogenic bacteria resistance monitoring technology based on big data” , which was presided by Li Ximing senior engineer of the School of Mathematics and information of Guangdong University, was held in the 520 conference room of the School of Mathematics and information of Guangdong University. The meeting was attended by experts, leaders and project team members from the Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Guangzhou Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute, the Guangdong Provincial Institute of Microbiology, The Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences, the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Guangzhou Zhongke gene and the South China Agricultural University. The meeting was hosted by senior engineer Li Ximing. Professor Xia Qiang, Vice Dean of school of Mathematics and information, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
At the meeting, Li Ximing senior engineer reported the problems of drug resistance monitoring in China and the progress of the project team in the development of hardware and software for drug resistance monitoring. Team teachers and graduate students showed the project team to develop their own rapid drug sensitivity test kit, intelligent drug sensitivity testing equipment, drug sensitivity monitoring platform.
After listening to the report of the project team and visiting the demonstration of the R & D Equipment of the project team, the experts discussed the research contents, the technical route and the related problems of the project promotion and application, and gave many valuable suggestions. Finally, the project leader, Li Ximing, a senior engineer, made a summary of the experts’ opinions and the discussions among the members of the project team, saying that he would attach great importance to the experts’ opinions and earnestly promote the orderly development of all aspects of the work, to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
