In order to do a good job in the acceptance of graduate students who are recommended by the 2021 of our college to study for a master’s degree, according to the regulations of the 2021 of the South China Agricultural University (see appendix) , and taking into account the actual situation of our college, we have formulated an implementation plan for the work of graduate students who are recommended by the 2021 to study for a master’s degree without examination.

The content and form of the second-round examination
1. Foreign Language Proficiency Test
Foreign language listening and reading comprehension test time is about 5-10 minutes, the full score is 100 points. Each discipline group provides its own foreign language materials related to its own discipline.
2. Assessment of professional quality and competence
The assessment of professional quality and competence is 100 out of 100. It mainly includes the following aspects:
(1) academic performance and achievements at the university level;
(2) to comprehensively assess the candidates’ mastery of the theoretical knowledge and applied skills of the subject (specialty) , their ability to discover, analyze and solve problems, their understanding of the development trends of the subject and their potential to develop in the field of specialty;
(3) innovative spirit and ability;
(4) core professional knowledge of cross-disciplinary candidates.
3. Comprehensive Quality and competency assessment
The overall quality and ability assessment is 100 out of 100, mainly including the following aspects:
(1) ideological and political quality and moral quality;
(2) experience in study, Scientific Research, social practice (including student work, community activities, voluntary service, etc.) or actual work outside the discipline (major) ;
(3) professionalism and sense of responsibility, discipline (law-abiding) , cooperation and mental health;
(4) humanistic quality;
(5) manners, etiquette and expressiveness, etc. .
4. Form of reinterview: interview.
Second-round examination results calculation and use
1. Results of the second interview
The total score (300 points) of the foreign language ability test, the professional ability test and the comprehensive ability test will be converted into 100 points (100 points) by one-third of the total score.
2. Use of retest results
(1) those who fail in the second-round examination will not be admitted (those who fail with less than 60 points) ;
(2) the list of students to be admitted in each major shall be determined from the highest to the lowest according to the reexamination results of the candidates.
Time for the second interview
October 10-october 30(the specific time and place will be determined by each discipline, and may be carried out in multiple batches according to the actual situation).
