On October 24,2020, at 8:00 am, the seventeen track and field games of the school of Mathematics and information and the school of software were held at the Mount Hua sports ground. The leaders attending the opening ceremony were Xie Shaofeng, Secretary of the College Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee Fang Yutian, deputy dean of the College Xiao Lei, Assistant Dean Zhang Qiuyan, and counselor teachers of all grades of the College.

At the opening ceremony, the Huannong Dragon and lion team took the stage with a rousing drumbeat. The performance of the two-man lion was lifelike and fantastic. Next, the military boxing performance of the instructors’ regiment, the “Wavin’ Flag” brought by the art troupe and the wonderful dance of the dance team made the whole assembly hall boil with excitement.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary Fang Yutian expected all the athletes to achieve friendship first, competition second, match style, Match Unity; all the referees to operate strictly according to the rules, to be fair and just, to maintain discipline and ensure the safety of the field; All staff carefully responsible and earnestly do a good job of logistics support. After the opening ceremony, the sports meet officially began. On the track, athletes fly away from the starting point like rabbits, like sharp arrows to the finish line, causing excitement among the audience. The 800m and 1500m are events that test the athletes’ stamina and endurance. They are not as exciting as the sprints, but they are just as exciting. On the field, the athletes are rubbing their hands and showing no sign of weakness. The Long Jumpers put their best foot forward, and the shot put players compete with each other to throw farther and farther. In the competition, the athletes have to face not only the physical test, but also the psychological test, they really reflect the hard work, never admit defeat of the spirit of the movement.
