“Measures for the implementation of disciplinary measures against students South China Agricultural University”(no. 101[2017] of the South China Agricultural Office) Chapter 2 Article 16:
(2) in the course of a semester, if the undergraduate student is absent from class for a total of 9 hours or less, the college shall issue a notice of criticism; if the student is absent from class for a total of 10-19 hours, he shall be given a warning; Those who have been absent from class for a cumulative period of 20-29 hours shall be given a serious warning; those who have been absent from class for a cumulative period of 30-39 hours shall be given a demerit penalty; those who have been absent from class for a cumulative period of 40-49 hours shall be given detention for observation If a graduate student is absent from class for one day (8 class hours are counted as one day) , the college shall issue a notice of criticism; if he is absent from class for 3 days, he shall be given a warning; if he is absent for 5 days, he shall be given a serious warning; if he is absent from class for 7 days, he shall be given a demerit Those who have been absent from school for more than 7 days or less than 2 weeks shall be given detention.
