There are two computer systems laboratories covering an area of about 160 square metres. The laboratory is mainly equipped with 70 computer composition principle and system structure test box, 70 desktop computers, 4 switches and 4 air-conditioning equipment. All desktop computers in the Computer System Laboratory can access the campus network and External Network. The laboratory boxes are produced by the science and Education Instrument Factory of Tsinghua University, the principle of computer composition and the structure of computer system of the two modes of the experimental system support technology are discussed. The biggest advantage of mode one laboratory box is the open CPU design and test, it can complete the experiment of computer composition principle and system structure, and also can be used for student’s course design and graduation design. In Mode 2, the system has its own instruction system and monitor program, can connect with terminal or PC, can operate online and execute more complete program, user can design CPU by himself. The computer system laboratory is mainly responsible for the course experiment of “computer composition principle” , “computer system structure” and “hardware technology comprehensive practice” , as well as scientific and technological innovation and competition projects.
