"Modern services have distinct features of organizational networking and information networking. Business managers are facing greater
management complexity problems because of the complexity and dynamic variability of service network and the perishability of service resource . Therefore, starting with lowering the management complexity of service system, this project will make a research on the autonomic modeling, organization and coordinated management of service systems, combining the autonomic management theory and the intelligent
computing technology. The contents of research focuses include: (1) Research on the autonomic modeling of service system,which includes state awareness and guidance. The valid state awareness can be achieved by knowledge representation and reasoning based on ontology language with combining the data mining technology. The “dynamic guidance” will be implemented by the policy-based manegement with combining the machine learning technology.(2) Design a organizational structure of service system with global efficient integration and local dynamic autonomy, based on macro information guidance. (3) Research on the learing and efficiency of autonomic service composition using structure based AI Planning, and research the coordinated management in the dynamic and uncertain environment by introducing trust and exploiting fuzzy logic and data mining technology. This project is expected to offer the novel ideas and theoretical basises to the efficient management of service systems in the ever-increasing complex network environment."
