The invention discloses a selection integrated face identifying method based on compressed sensing. The selection integrated face identifying method comprises the steps of (1) establishing a plurality of compressed sensing face classifiers according to different feature extraction methods and different sparse coefficient solving methods, (2) selecting the plurality of classifiers generated in the step (1) through a selection algorithm to form an integrated classifier, (3) rapidly distinguishing whether a to-be-identified image is an effective face image through a face recognizer, and (4), carrying out integrated face identification on the face image effectively identified in the step (3) according to the integrated classifier. According to the selection integrated face identifying method based on the compressed sensing, face identification can be integrated, system stability and generalization capacity are improved, and through tests on the Orlando (ORL) face database and the YALE face database, availability and effectiveness are checked.
