华南农业大学数学与信息学院，工学博士、副教授，硕士生导师，广州市2015年“珠江科技新星”人才培养对象。2007年7月进入华南农业大学信息学院信息工程系；2012年6月毕业于华南农业大学工程学院农业电气化与自动化专业，获工学博士学位；2012年12月被华南农业大学聘为青年副教授；申请者系中国农业工程学会高级会员。2014年被评为广东高校“千百十人才工程”培养对象（校级）。2014年3月获得国家公派留学资助项目计划赴日本京都大学农学科机器人实验室进行访问学者的研究工作。

    本人一直进行视觉与图像处理技术在农业采摘机器人方面的应用研究，主持国家自然科学基金青年基金1项，主要进行采摘机器人的视觉定位研究；主持国家星火计划项目1项，主要进行荔枝采后无损储运设备的开发技术研究；作为主要研究人员完成和正在承担国家自然科学基金3项，在其中主要负责视觉感知行为及精准定位的研究，该3个项目的研究都是针对农业机器人的智能化精准采摘行为进行的深入研究；另外参与广东省科技攻关项目3项，广东省自然科学基金项目2项。发表研究论文30余篇，EI收录22篇，申请及授权发明专利4项，取得软件著作权7项，主持和参与华南农业大学校长基金3项。

Juntao Xiong received his master and doctor degrees in South China Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. He was a visiting scholar at the Graduate School of Agricultral, Kyoto University, from February 2015 to February 2016, mainly engaged in multispectral information monitoring technology for agricultural production, and worked with Prof. Naoshi Kondo. Then, he is an associate professor at the College of Mathematics and Informatics, South China Agricultural University. He has published over 50 technical papers, include also some patents and computer software copyright, and his research interests include agricultural robot, machine vision, image processing, and intelligent manufacturing system. He is a senior member of Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering.
