Abstract: The talk will exposit  the general rule of Hardy H^2 space decomposition of L^2 spaces on manifolds. On the unit circle case we generalise the concept of Fourier frequency leading to instantaneous frequency decomposition of signals.  A practical and efficient such decomposition is Adaptive Fourier Decomposition (AFD).  The talk will present in detail the AFD method involving generalised backward shift operation and Beurling Theorem.

钱涛教授简介：澳门科技大学教授、博士生导师。曾任澳门大学Distinguished Professor(杰出教授)，长期担任澳门大学数学系主任。主要研究领域是欧氐空间上的Fourier分析、Clifford分析、时频分析和图像处理的小波分析等。多个SCI期刊杂志的编委、副主编，荣获过首届澳门科学技术奖“自然科学奖”一等奖。
